Honorable Mention Worst of the Field Dane Hebert They appear on feeding day out from behind rock, tree, and dwellings unknown: black birds playing the size game to chase wrens, red birds in highbrow pow-wow, “We here first. We deserve all.” and ferals waiting patiently uncomplaining on the food chain for free flight meals. The list is transient ad infinitum. Even squirrels have squired the art of human thievery. Masterful second story feed crashers bury birdseed to mold rather than share.
